Do you really need my weight, height, and skier type every time I rent?

As this is a safety issue, yes, we do. We understand that this may be frustrating, but we are required to verify weight, height, and ability for every rental, without exception.

Does every renter need to be in person to rent?

It is ideal to have every renter in store for rentals. This makes the process smoother and helps us ensure that we fit you to the best possible size.

Boots / Skis

What's the best overall ski?

While our staff members each have their own idea of the 'best' ski, there are key factors to consider when determining the top ski of the season

Higher-end brands add key features, like felt between each ski layer to reduce chatter, or prioritizing a metal core.

The amount of research and development a brand invests also influences how their skis perform.

Independent design thinking is another quality that sets a ski apart – is the ski rehashing old ideas and following proven trends, or is it working to advance new design?

Come talk to our staff to find out what we each think is the “best” ski of the season. We'd love to chat about it!

What's the best ski for me?

The best ski for you depends solely on you and your preferences!

What type of skiing do you prefer – ripping the groomers, or exploring off piste? Are you looking for more control or speed?

Our staff are highly trained, knowledgeable, and friendly and will easily help you find your perfect ski.

Some factors they'll look at include preferred turn radius, what skis you already own, budget (there are great performing skis at every price point), and looks.

Can I buy boots online?

Your boots are your most important piece of ski equipment, and in our experience, buying boots online rarely goes well.

Boots are not shoes – you should think of them more as prosthetics that allow the skis to become an extension of your body.

There are so many variables in selecting the right boot for your desired comfort and performance that just knowing your “boot size” will not guarantee that you purchase the right boot for you.

We recommend coming in for a boot fitting with our owner, Andrew, to get your perfect fit and make your days on the slopes more enjoyable.

Can you fix boots/skis I bought online that are clearly wrong for me?

We'll do our best to custom fit your boots, but sometimes the wrong boot is just the wrong boot.

Skiing can be an expensive hobby, and we get it – buying used equipment is often the best way to get into the sport. Once you start getting interested in more comfort and better performance, we strongly recommend talking with an expert who can help you find the right equipment for your needs.

You can book a boot fitting here.

I'm cold all the time or I experience Reynaud's Syndrome. Is there anything I can do to stay warmer?

If you experience Reynaud’s or are just cold 24/7, we may be able to help.

Having the right clothing at your core, near your heart, and made from the right materials, will make all the difference in how cold even your fingers and toes are.

Our staff can talk to you about your experience and recommend a combination of layers that will completely change how much you enjoy the snow.
